Opportunity for Public Hearing

Connecticut River Transit, southeastern Vermont’s designated 30-town nonprofit public transit coordinator and provider, proposes an extension to the current general-public in-town Bellows Falls service. Currently, we provide service in-town in Bellows Falls Monday-Friday from 8:00 to 5:00pm.

We are proposing to keep this Monday-Friday service as is. This proposed change will extend our service to include Saturday, August 4, from 11:00am to 4:00pm. The circular shuttle route on August 4 will include the high school, VT Country Store, Durand Auto (where the car show will be held), the train station, downtown Bellows Falls, and Atkinson Street. This service is open to the general public; anyone may ride.

CRT receives funding from the Federal Transit Administration, VT Agency of Transportation, towns, and donations. If you would like to have a public hearing on this matter, please respond in writing within two weeks of the publication of this public notice. Or comments on the proposed change can be sent to:
