Notice of Opportunity to Bid
CRT seeks qualified bidders for transportation services to be provided in the Brattleboro and Putney area for the elderly and disabled for the period of July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2008.
A. These transportation services are for Elders and Persons with Disabilties Transportation generally defined by CRT Elders and Persons with Disabilities Application to State of Vermont, Agency of Transportation (VTrans) for the period July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2008.
B. The service will provide door-to-door transportation services for the elderly (60+) and persons with ADA defined disabilities. Door-to-door services shall include: scheduled and demand responsive services that meet the needs of eligible individuals of the Brattleboro and Putney Community Elders and Persons with Disabilities transportation program, non-Holiday, Monday – Friday with destinations limited to community meal sites and scheduled shopping trips.
The mode of transportation shall be a fully ADA accessible vehicle; Transportation must be safe and must accommodate passenger mobility devices—such as wheelchairs.
