Short-Range Public Transit Plan Public Meeting

The 5 Year Short-Range Public Transit Plan for Connecticut River Transit, southeastern Vermont’s designated 30-town nonprofit public transit coordinator and provider, will be presented for Public Involvement in the planning process. Your participation is most important to identify current and future demand as a basis for planning service.

The Vermont Agency of Transportation, in coordination with Vermont’s twelve public transit providers, is developing the Short-Range Public Transportation Plans (SRPTPs).

What can I expect to see in these plans?

VTrans' goal is to engage in collaborative planning with the state’s transit agencies.  During 2008, VTrans' Public Transit Section will work with our partners and the public to define public transit needs throughout the state. Together, we will develop policies and strategies that will provide guidance on ways to enhance public transit networks and services.

Call CRT Broker Services at (802) 885-5162 or long distance (888) 869-6287 to schedule your ride on public transportation to the meeting.  CRT will participate in two sets of meetings
