benefit the Foodshelf at
Our Place Drop in Center of Bellows Falls.
The Bus was STUFFED!!
We collected 1069 items at the food drive
(approximately 176 bags including 8 Turkeys)
and $137.68 in Cash.
The Current teamed up with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont for National Walk @ Lunch Day on Wednesday, April 28, 2010!
Tens of
thousands of walkers participated in last year's event!
Participation is fun and easy. Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont is joining other Blue Cross and Blue Shield companies, employers and state legislatures across the nation to encourage you to wear comfortable walking shoes on Wednesday, April 28 and simply take a walk at lunch. It's a short walk, but it will make a difference in the overall health of our employees.
Due to our unpredictable weather in Vermont!!! (Snow on APRIL 28th?!?)
The TEAM at The Current got creative and walked laps in our 12,000 sq. ft. bus parking area of our garage!!!
