Where do you need to go? Our bus schedules describe where and when we travel, but if you do not see your desired locations on a schedule, we may still be able to get you there! Always contact us to ask. We may be able to schedule your trip by arranging a Dial-A-Ride trip or by deviating from our route. When you are on the bus, ask the driver to stop anywhere along the route to let you off; whenever you see the bus, wave it down, and it will stop to pick you up where it is safe to do so. If we cannot accommodate your transportation needs yet, we keep records of requests to guide us in expanding present service and building new routes.

Connecticut River Transit connects you to where you need to go by Commuter Bus, Between-Towns/In-Town bus, or Dial-A-Ride.

Commuter Buses

Do you commute to work? Transform your commute from a tiring drive to a relaxing ride with reliable daily weekday schedules to and from Ascutney, Bellows Falls, Brattleboro, Putney, Route 30, Route I-91 Park & Ride exits 7/8/9, Saxtons River, Springfield, the Upper Valley, or Westminster – and seasonally 7 days a week between Bellows Falls/Chester/Springfield/Ludlow/Okemo. Connecticut River Transit will save you money, and is friendly, easy to use, on time and on schedule.

Between-Towns/In-Town Buses

Do you need to travel between towns or in-town? Our comfortable, accessible buses operated by friendly safe drivers will save you gas and the hassle of driving and parking.

Between towns, travel confidently Monday-Friday to Ascutney, Brattleboro, Bellows Falls, Chester, Dummerston/ W. Dummerston, Jamaica, Ludlow, Newfane, Putney, Saxtons River, Springfield, Townshend, Westminster, Windsor, White River Junction, & in NH: Claremont, Hanover, Lebanon, Walpole and N. Walpole – and seasonally 7 days a week between Bellows Falls/ Chester/ Springfield/ Ludlow/ Okemo.

If you need a driver to pick you up or drop you off within 3/4 mile of a route, please request a deviated bus route.

Dial-A-Ride

Connecticut River Transit’s Dial-A-Ride service makes rural Vermont living easier for you! Just contact us 2 days ahead to schedule your trip on a Dial-A-Ride Bus or to see whether you qualify for transportation to Dial-A-Ride Medical Appointments. You will save gas and the hassle of driving and parking by using these door-to-door (origin-to-destination) ride services.

Dial-A-Ride Bus Service

Anyone can ride on any Dial-A-Ride Bus; you do not need to qualify. Just contact us at least 2 days ahead to schedule your ride. Depending on availability, we offer Dial-A-Ride Bus service in Bellows Falls, Brattleboro, Chester, Dummerston/ W. Dummerston, Jamaica, Newfane, Saxtons River, Springfield, Townshend, Westminster, and Windsor.

Dial-A-Ride Medical

Are you in Windham or Southern Windsor County? If you have Medicaid, are 60 or more years of age, OR have an ADA-defined disability, getting to your medical appointments can now be one less worry. Just contact us at least 2 days before your medical appointment for your door-to-door ride with a screened trained volunteer driver; you may schedule up to one month of medical appointments at a time. We service 30 Vermont towns in the Windham and Southern Windsor Counties.
